I Could See Myself Wearing This!

It's been awhile since I thought about wearing maternity clothes. Yeah sure I've thought about bringing another rugrat into the world because my youngest is going on three now! Wow, when you have kids time flies. I just don't want my little one to grow up with no little brother or sister to play with and maybe torment. I have been so busy with her that I find it hard to do one of my favorite things like blog! We have been on a whirlwind of play dates, preschool, new big girl bed and now a big move back to my hometown. We just want our little one to grow up in a safe place and around family. So, once we settle maybe we will think about going round number two! Just a few short years back I couldn't find one thing that was actually stylish until I came across the super cute maternity clothing that I would be happy to wear if that time should ever come! Blogging: tools of the trade

There are many different ways to approach blogging. Back in the day, blogging wasn't called blogging; I maintained an online diary or journal. I wrote my entries and uploaded them manually to static .html pages with geocities.com, envy.nu or virtue.nu.

Then along came sites like bolt.com, kiwibox.com and opendiary.com. These sites offered bare-bones templates and editors that helped maintain a blog for you.

Finally, the self-hosted blogging platforms or "content management systems" (CMS) came along. You know them by their names -- b2, Greymatter, MoveableType and WordPress.

Me? I'm a WordPress girl all the way. The platform is easy to install and use, and offers code junkies such as myself unlimited options for customization.

Blogging madness

One thing I do well is blog. I maintain multiple blogs, and I do my best to update them on a daily or a near-daily basis. I'm a very busy person, but by keeping a notebook with me, I can quickly jot down ideas that I have for blogging even when I'm on the go.

I first got into blogging almost a decade ago, when I kept an online journal with bolt.com. A few months later I was hosted by a girl who owned the domain name orange-jello.com, and a year after that I bought my very first domain. I've been on a roll ever since!

Wrapping Up Holiday Shopping!

Who around here is done with their Holiday Shopping? I'm not even close, i still have a few to shop for. I think I will be doing a little online shopping for some of these gifts. I just have been so busy with work and the family I don't seem to have the time to get out there and shop! I know that my girlfriend would love to have one of the silver baby lockets she's been looking at and, maybe silver necklace or bracelet for herself. I found some really nice ones online and, this would be easy to have them shipped to her. So, two down and about five more gifts to go! Any ideas?

Indoor Plants to Die For!

Do you have a hard time growing indoor plants? I always seem to kill mine so, I have finally I started searching for answers online and, finally came up with, I didn't provide enough light! I have always wanted to have lush green plants adorning my home and, now I can with the grow lights I found! Now all my friends are so jealous of all the beatuiful plants I have in my home!

The Best Seat in the House!

So, what do you think of the new office furniture for my cubicle? I guess my boss is doing pretty well because, all the girls got their own space now. I know it looks a little bare, but, it will soon be overflowing with papers, files and sticky notes! I think I may even have to put some of my pictures out! I think I got the best office chair in the joint now!

Just a Little Competitive!

Step one, admit to yourself, I always say. Yes, I love to golf, I admit it, I am in full swing addiction to this sport. Every Saturday and Sunday I pack up my
golf equipment, throw on my golf shirt and I'm gone all weekend playing. This shouldn't be a bad thing, everyone needs a hobbie right? I love the fresh air and exercise and, feel completely refreshed after a good game of golf with my friends. We all have a pool going on right now, on how many of us will be making every game, come winter. Well, count me in, I will be out there in my down jacket and ski cap if necessary. You can mark my words, I will be the king of the Green! Do I sound a little Competitive? Well, I guess I am! I love to win!
